Name: Miss Carly Halton

I love my job because I enjoy watching children grow in confidence. Seeing each individual child smiling through their learning and play is such a WOW moment!
My best memory from when I was at school was getting to see all my friends at school everyday as I am a very social person. I was a lead singer in a band and my best friend at the time was the drummer.
My top 3 favourite things to do outside of school are:
1. Spending time with family and friends
2. Playing netball
3. Baking cheesecakes, flapjacks and fairy cakes with my son, Ollie.

I love my job because I get to spend time with some great children and help them release their potential. Seeing them grow and progress is truly magical, and I think I will always be amazed by it.
My best memory from when I was at school was breaktime at primary school. I could use the wooden stilts and walk around the playing field, feeling like I was touching the sky. It was a great feeling.
My top 3 favourite things to do outside of school are:
1. Spending quality time with family and friends
2. Baking too many cakes!

My best memory from when I was at school was playing Goal Attack for the netball team, some of whom became life-long friends.

1. Spending time with my family and friends.
2. Long walks in the Cotswolds and holidays abroad.
3. Lose myself in a good thriller, preferably in the garden.

I love my job because I get to work with some incredible children who make me smile every single day!
My best memory from when I was at school was being really impressed with my neat stitches in cross stitch. Shortly after, I noticed that I had accidentally sewn the fabric onto my school skirt!
My top 3 favourite things to do outside of school are:
1. Cooking and having fun in the kitchen with my children.
2. Painting, decorating and being creative at home.
3. Travelling and exploring with my family.

My best memory from when I was at school was when we had a birds of prey display in the school. I can remember the Eagle Owl being flown across the hall…it was amazing and I’ve loved owls ever since!

I love my job because I am constantly amazed with the capacity children have to learn new things. I also couldn't imagine doing any other job.
My best memory from when I was at school was being with my friends, reading Enid Blyton books and being in the school plays and concerts.

1. Spending time with my children and grandsons.
2. Reading and listening to audio books.
3. Socialising with my friends and drinking coffee.

My best memory from when I was at school was learning about different countries and their cultures, especially trying foods associated with the countries.

I love my job because each day is different and, with the support of a great team, I thrive on watching the children learn and grow not only educationally but holistically as well.
My best memory from when I was at school was the School dinners, especially the Chocolate Crunch and Strawberry Custard! My mum had to ask for the recipe to make at home.
My top 3 favourite things to do outside of school are:
1. Walking, playing and cuddles with my crazy Galgo Greyhound.
2. Reading or listening to a good book.
3. Finding those reduced plants in Garden Centres and encouraging them to grow!

My best memory from when I was at school was my favourite teacher, Mr Long, who loved English and language - and he inspired me to become a teacher!

My best memory from when I was at school was definitely sports day each summer. My favourite events were the three-legged race and the inter house relay races.

2. Running, I recently took up running and plan to run a half marathon, one day!
3. Going to live music concerts and comedy shows.
