Remote Learning Information
Since March 2020 the use of remote learning has changed forever and is something that continues to develop as our current world keeps changing.
At The John Moore Primary School, we use two platforms to help give an insight to parents into their child's daily life at School. Tapestry is specifically for our Reception children, which you are invited to join once your child has started school. The second is Class Dojo which we use across the whole school.
As a school we have used both these platforms to help deliver our remote learning during the pandemic along with our live teaching sessions. Information regarding daily lessons and activities are posted on class pages for parents to access prior to the day.
Please visit our Policies Page for more information on Remote Learning.
Tapestry offers our Reception parents the opportunity to add pictures and videos of their child outside of school and to comment on school observations. We actively encourage our parents to spend time looking at their child's Tapestry account with their child as it is a brilliant tool to help develop the home school relationship for you and your child.
Class Dojo is a wonderful virtual platform to see what your child has been doing in their class as well as whole school experiences. Parents have the ability to add to their child's profile which can then be shared with their class teacher. Again this helps to maintain the home school partnership we strive for at The John Moore Primary School.
We also have access to Doodle Maths, which is used across the School. Individual teachers set short, specific activities for your child to access at home. Login details for this are sent home once your child has started with us.
Please find below some helpful documents and links about Tapestry, Class Dojo and Doodle Maths. If you require and further information or support in setting up your child's account please contact us.
