Welcome to The John Moore Primary School
Thank you for taking a look at our school website. We hope that you will find it informative and useful and will use it as a reference point. The website is no substitute for a visit however, so please do come and see us!
When your child joins our school, their welfare is our main concern. We want every child in our school to thrive in all they do. We work to make our school a magical place where children are able to learn and flourish in a safe, caring environment.
Our school values of 'Soar, Share, Strive and Sparkle' underpin our whole school ethos. We want our children to set themselves aspirational goals, to show kindness and respect, to strive to achieve their very best and to recognise and feel proud of their successes.
Our staff team work together to give the children our very best, to show our school values through our teaching, nurture and celebrations. We hope that you will enjoy coming to visit and we look forward to sharing our school with you.
We also believe that to make the best of the opportunities our school has to offer, a positive partnership between home and school is essential. If you wish to talk to your child’s teacher about your child's progress, then a mutually convenient time can easily be arranged. Teachers are usually available before or after school on most days. Please do not hesitate to come and talk to us straight away, should you have any worries or concerns regarding your child; the door is always open.
Working in partnership to ensure your child has the very best education possible is so important to us. Your help and support is so valued within this school, whether it is just for a few minutes, or for a longer period of time. If you feel that you would like to be part of our Parent Helper Team, then please let us know.
If you have any questions about anything that you have read, or would like further information, then do not hesitate to contact the school.
If you would like to see the school in action then please contact us to make an appointment to visit when the children are here.
We hope that you and your child will feel very welcomed into our school community and will have a truly special experience as we all work together.
