Sparrow Class is our 3-4 year old class based in the Little Foxes Building.
Children joining Sparrows in September 2026 have a birthday between 1st September 2022 and 31st August 2023.
We still have some availability for September 2026- please get in touch with the Little Foxes Admin for more information.
Children joining Sparrow in September 2027 will have a birthday between 1st September 2023 and 31st August 2024. We usually have space for a few children to start with us, though priority of spaces is given to our current Wren Class.

About Sparrow Class
Sparrow Class is our Pre School class located in our purpose built building on the John Moore Primary School Site. All the children in Wren class move up together into Sparrows so those fantastic friendships they have made will be built upon this year. Though the focus is still on play we start to introduce very short sessions of more formal learning.
We have PE and Outdoor Learning once a week. We have our own play area we use all day but we also have access to the school field after lunchtime.
We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Statutory Framework and while your children are with us we will support their learning and individual development. We also work closely with the JMPS Reception Team and other local Primary Schools to ensure that children are ready for their transition over to their respective Primary Schools.
We use Tapestry in setting as it is a fantastic tool for communication and sharing your child's learning journey with you.
Kinga currently sends out a weekly roundup of what the class has been doing this week and sharing our 4 S's with you!
